Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe (born in America) is the country music and pop performer. Ashley Monroe formed a group called Pistol Annies, with Angaleena presley and Miranda Lambert in 2007, before releasing her second album titled Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe performing Blake SheltonIn 2016, she produced The Blade which was another highly acclaimed album. Ashley Monroe works as the Assistant village manager of Riverside Illinois. With over fifteen years' experience, she has worked at various levels of public service, with five years of experience in the Iowa City deputy City Manager post. The position she is in now the Village Manager's Assistant and is responsible for a range of duties that include overseeing the Community Development and Building Department as well as overseeing grant applications and other special initiatives. Ashley is involved in the day-to-day operation of Riverside services as well as implementing the elected officials' and community goals. Ashley's previous positions included municipal planning, communications for government, budgeting, personnel management and collective negotiations. She also focused on climate action. Ashley's participation in National organizations and work with communities of varying populations has given her an understanding of the different aspects and similarities in the way different public organizations are run. Ashley's program concentrates on leadership, management and public administration from the point of view of a practicing practitioner. Ashley's emphasis on adjusting to the current issues and opportunities while navigating the complexities of intergovernmental and community relations and making ethical decisions will provide a framework for aspiring professionals as well as those working within public organizations.
